We're here to provide natural, sulfate-free hypo-allergenic* hair and body care products. Our products are 100% vegan, very gentle, and range from completely unscented and undyed to richly and romantically scented.  No artificial colorings are used. The vibrant, lusty colors are all natural with saponified organic oils. All our products are made in small batches, handcrafted.  They are completely sulfate free, paraben free, Phthalate free, eco-friendly, no animal testing, no animal products, no by-products. As well as being delightful when it comes to day-to-day hair and body care, our products are both vegan and cruelty-free, so you can buy without guilt!  La Vida Dulce was founded out of frustration from paying astronomical prices for a decent sulfate-free hair and body care line that didn't use overwhelmingly strong fragrances or other harsh chemicals. I discovered the Mayan secret of coconut oil.  Coconut oil is rich in healthy linoic acid, something the human body can not make on it's own and is a wonderful lathering agent for soap and shampoo. Coconut oil plumps the hair follicle, conditions, and strengthens as well as a fantastic styling product.  Coconut oil used on the skin is a luxiurious moisturizer. It is mild on the skin protecting against moisture loss and has natural uv protectors.

I always loved the idea of shampoo bars, but as a licensed hair dresser, I ran into the same problems as I always did; the bigger bath and body companies that billed their products as "natural" were usually full of sulfates and other harsh ingredients that aggravates allergies, and the indie alternatives generally varied between nice-but-really-expensive and cheap-but-lousy. I was ready to start tearing my hair out in frustration, so I decided to do something about it. La Vida Dulce was born.
